The vision of The Company & Its Founders:
CH Web Media is a digital media agency that is obsessed with delivering excellent services to its clients. We are based in the East Bay and the San Francisco Bay Area where we work with clients combining data, insights, and technology with creative design to drive engagement and grow their diverse businesses.
How Did You Start This Company?
Our story can be traced to 2008, when our founder, Karen decided to learn the complexities of SEO and design after she had been disappointed by an SEO agency. Within a couple of years, Karen had become a genius in creating stunning designs using photoshop and she was able to attract customers to her business with online marketing strategies.
By 2010, Karen had begun helping other businesses attract customers which led to the birth of CH Web Media. The company has since grown to include a team of web developers, designers, copywriters, and SEO experts. And today, we have an ever-growing list of delighted clients who have come back to work with us again and again.
What Was The Trigger Point Which Happened To Start This Company?
In 2008, Karen started her own online store selling gift baskets and pet toys. She would hire designers for the logo, banner, and a website and realized that she either had to wait for a couple of weeks or no show for what she needed. As a result of that, she started to learn to build her own website via Yahoo store and paid a monthly fee for it. After that, she decided to hire an online marketing company to help her with SEO, only to find out that she ended up doing the entire marketing work by herself with the help of the marketing company telling her what to do on the phone. After 3 months, she decided to quit working with the marketing company and took over the marketing effort for her online business.
After months of frustration of relying on other people to do what she needed, she decided to learn how to use Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Indesign software, through youtube videos and internet. Her efforts of 2 years of self-taught have helped her established the skills of building websites and SEO and grow the passion for enjoyment. In 2010, she started her own website design and SEO business helping hundreds of small business owners to achieve their online goals. With the understanding of being a client herself in the past, she is able to relate and design her business vision around it.
What Is The Core Problem She Feels Many Of Your Ideal Clients Face In Their Business?
The core problem that Karen feels from any of her ideal clients is that they have a budget for a website project. When they tell her that they just wanted a simple website and thought that this is just a simple work, she feels they do not understand the value of her time and effort to complete their projects in a professional sense.
Another core problem she faces most of the time from her clients is that most of them are not usually respond back promptly when she needs their feedback and more content information. She has set a website project timeframe to be 1 month but most of the clients don’t usually follow through her requests and deadline and the project gets to extend to a long period of time.
People need to appreciate our time and effort for developing websites and honor the deadline for each project.
