We got this video for you so that you don’t need to spend your time in the search.

For the first time since its creation, CSS now has a true two-dimensional layout tool in the CSS Grid specification. We had to resort to floats, online blocks and, more recently, Flexbox. Because using them for layout is essentially a hack, we are often tempted to resort to grid frameworks like those provided by Foundation and Bootstrap.

Using examples, my talk will look at how we can do what we've done with frameworks using CSS Grid instead, and also how we can do things we could not do before without complex cheats or JavaScript. I will also share some thoughts on the use of CSS Grid in production today, accessibility issues and tips on the best resources to learn more.

This presentation will be useful for beginner, intermediate, and long-time developers who are not yet familiar with CSS Grid. This should also be of interest to designers who want to know what is possible with the CSS today.
