We got this video for you so that you don’t need to spend your time in the search.

Are you looking to add a nofollow title or tag to your WordPress links? WordPress adds an open option in a new window for your links, but as you learn more about SEO and other topics, you may decide to add nofollow to your links or title for better accessibility. In this video, we will show you how to add a title and nofollow your popup to insert a link in WordPress.

When you add a link and you open the link options, the default options are to edit the link text, open the link in a new tab, and select the link to the text. This is a visual representation of the HTML code of the link itself and we can add more options to customize the link.

A nofollow on a link tells search engines that they can see these links, but you do not want to share your access rights to their websites. Meanwhile, a title attribute allows you to add a description to your link from the page you are linking to.

A simple way to add options for nofollow and title would be the Title and Nofollow For Links plugin found here:

Title and Nofollow For Links

After installing this plugin under Plugins, Add New, you activate it and there are no parameters to configure. With this active plugin when you try to add a link, you will have added the option to add a title and nofollow to the popup.
